It’s time to have your say, as we look forward to the most exciting night of the year. It’s time to dust off your dancing shoes and get ready
for the party, as the clock ticks down to the Globe Travel Awards 2023. And while a host of ingredients go in to making it the
soirée it is – from the celebrity host to the special guest performances, the late-night dancefloor to the drinks in the Red Bar – it’s you, our travel agent readers, who are at the heart of the Globes. You know who’s gone the extra mile in helping clients
during the pandemic, who’s leading the way in terms of product innovation and who’s putting in the extra hours to build trade partnerships – so we rely on you to vote. That’s why we asked you to nominate your favourite
suppliers back in September, and why we’re asking you to vote for the winners from the shortlists at our dedicated website at
globetravelawards.co.uk. As the biggest accolades to be nominated and voted
for solely by travel agents, a Globe is considered one of the highest achievements in the industry. So whether it’s a tour operator that’s gone above and beyond in supporting you through the past two
years, a hotel leading the way with its eco-credentials, a cruise line putting agent training first, or an airline standing out for its service, now’s the chance to give suppliers the recognition they deserve. You’ll find our shortlists on the following
pages, split across seven categories covering touring, flying, cruising, serving the industry and beyond – so read on to find out more and get inspired. We’ll also be handing out Special
Awards, recognising individuals that stand out from the crowd to benefit those around them. In addition, we’re excited to be
launching two new Special Awards for this year: Employer of the Year, dedicated to companies committed to staff wellbeing; and the Sustainable Future Award, honouring those putting eco considerations first. The Globes will take place on Thursday, January 12, in the Great Room at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on London’s Park Lane – and we’re still taking bookings if you would like to be there on the night.
