Oceania puts 2022 world cruise on sale
Oceania Cruises has put its 2022 Around the World in 180 Days itinerary on sale. The sailing calls at 91 ports in 44 countries across the South Pacific, Africa and northern Europe. The cruise on Insignia features nine ports in Japan. Prices for the full voyage, departing from Los Angeles in January 2022, lead in at £37,629 for an inside stateroom.

Royal Caribbean promotes Tucker in sales team shake-up

Royal Caribbean International has promoted Karen Tucker to the new role of head of field sales in a shake-up of its UK and Ireland trade sales team. Tucker, who has been with the
line for 15 years, will be responsible for a team of regional sales managers including Dionne Lalley, who has moved from the line’s Insights team.

River cruise line Viva Cruises has acquired a vessel and will launch it on the Rhine in March. The 153-passenger Viva Tiara will set sail on its first itinerary on March 15 from Düsseldorf, Germany, to Amsterdam. The line said Viva Tiara will be the only ship operating
year-round on the Rhine.

Celestyal launches two-for-one offers Celestyal Cruises has revealed a ‘buy one, get one free’ wave offer on six departures. The offer is available on the seven-night Romantic Adriatic cruises, departing from Venice on December 5, 12, 19 and 26, and repositioning cruises on November 30 and January 2, 2021. The offer is available for a second adult sharing a stateroom.

Expedition line Aurora Expeditions has launched its 2021-22 programme, featuring sailings on Greg Mortimer and the yet-to-launch Sylvia Earle. The purpose-built expedition
vessels will call at destinations including Antarctica, the South Sandwich Islands, Ireland and Costa Rica. Sylvia Earle is slated for delivery in October 2021.
