Saga hopes TV show will help sell new Greek island tours

Saga has launched two Greek island touring holidays for 2020: Pearls of the Aegean and Ionian Treasures. The over-50s operator hopes its


customers will be inspired to book by a new TV travel show starring Julia Bradbury, whose mother is Greek. The presenter is fronting a six-part ITV series, The Greek Islands with Julia Bradbury, which started on January 10. Viewers will see Bradbury

travelling to destinations including Crete, Corfu and Santorini, as well as lesser-known islands such as Symi, Thirassia and Skopelos. The region attracts three million


Britons each year and Bradbury’s show will take her “beyond the tourist trail on a voyage of discovery”.
