Agent Achievement Awards 2018: The industry’s outstanding agencies and finest frontline staff were honoured at last week’s awards ceremony
Two esteemed bosses of high street travel agencies were given the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award at this year’s Agent Achievement Awards lastweek.
Sandra Corkin, managing
director of Oasis Travel in Northern Ireland, and Miles Morgan, managing director of Miles Morgan Travel, received their
awards in a ceremony hosted by comedian Rob Beckett at London’s Park Plaza Westminster hotel. It was a particularly special
night for both as their businesses also scooped awards in the agency categories at the biggest celebration of the travel trade in the UK. Miles Morgan Travel won both the High Street Agency – Large Agency and the South
West England and South Wales – Large Agency awards. Oasis Travel picked up the Northern Ireland – Small Agency Award. More than 30 awards were given
out on the night, to agencies and individual agents, including for the best promotions, social media use
