Viking unveils Great Lakes itinerary
as part of summer 2023 programme Viking has released its summer 2023 programme of expedition voyages, including a new 15-day Great Lakes Collection itinerary. Debuting in June 2023, the itinerary sails between Canadian city Toronto and Duluth, Minnesota, with ports of call across all five Great Lakes. Three additional expedition voyages in North and South America will also debut in summer 2023, including a 16-day Canada & the Atlantic Coastline trip.

Princess offers free flights and transfers for European sailings
Princess Cruises is offering free flights and transfers on selected 2022 fly-Europe sailings. The deal, worth up to £350 per
person, runs until December 20 and includes peak summer departures in the Mediterranean. The offer applies to more than
70 fly-Europe voyages and includes flights, taxes and transfers. Several Med itineraries on
Regal Princess are featured, with departures running from March until September next year, as well as Scandinavian voyages aboard new ship Enchanted Princess sailing from Copenhagen. Prices with flights and
transfers start at £589 for a seven- night fly-Med cruise byRegal Princess, £1,069 for an 11-night Scandinavia cruise on Enchanted Princess and £1,199 for a 14-night fly-Med cruise on Regal Princess.

Scenic reveals new polar and river trips
Scenic has new itineraries in Antarctica and the Arctic Circle plus two culinary river cruises in France for 2022. Scenic Eclipse will return to Antarctica from January 6, one of the first vessels to do so. A new 19-day Weddell Sea itinerary departing on December 19 starts at £15,030. The vessel will begin its inaugural Mediterranean season on April 14.

Tui River Cruises expands summer
2023 programme to 21 itineraries Tui River Cruises has added three new itineraries for summer 2023. It put the season on sale last week, having expanded its range to 21 itineraries. Two of the new cruises are on the Rhine and one on the Main, while Andernach on the Rhine will be a new port of call for the recently launched line. A four-night sailing from Frankfurt in October 2023 leads in at £999.

P&O’s new ship Arvia to sail out of Southampton in 2023

New P&O Cruises ship Arvia is to embark on its first summer sailings from Southampton to the Mediterranean in summer 2023. The 5,200-passenger sister ship to Iona is due
for delivery in December 2022 and will debut with Caribbean fly-cruises early the following year. The LNG-powered vessel will then reposition to
the UK to sail 14-night itineraries from the company’s home port to up to six ports in Italy, Spain and France. Itinerary choices include La Spezia, for Florence and
Pisa, and overnight visits to Barcelona. Arvia will then operate its first full season of
Caribbean fly-cruises from home port Barbados between October 2023 until the end of March 2024. Prices for 14-night Arvia cruises start at £999 for an inside cabin departing on April 30, 2023, to La Coruna,
La Spezia, Marseille, Barcelona and Seville from Cadiz. Iona will resume seven-night cruises to the
Norwegian fjords from Southampton in summer 2023 and operate to mainland Spain, Portugal and the Canary

Islands in winter. Prices lead in at £499 for a seven-night Iona sailing from Southampton to Norway. Britannia will offer seven-night summer Norwegian
fjords cruises, a 14-night Baltic itinerary and 14-night western Med island cruises. The ship will spend winter
sailing 14-night fly-cruises from Barbados. Azura will be based in Malta for summer 2023,
running eastern and western Med fly-cruises, and in Tenerife in winter to operate alternating seven-night
fly-cruise itineraries. Ventura’s summer 2023 schedule includes Atlantic
coast and Canary Islands cruises as well as short breaks to Amsterdam. Arcadia and Aurora will visit Norway, Russia, New York and Greek islands in summer on itineraries designed to include less-frequented destinations, including Grundafjordur in Iceland, Palermo in Sicily and Klaipeda in Lithuania.
