Oceania Cruises schedules restart dates for trio of ships from October


Oceania Cruises vessels Riviera, Insignia and Sirena will restart sailings between October 2021 and January 2022. Riviera will resume on October 18 from Istanbul with a series of Mediterranean voyages. Insignia will cruise from Miami to Panama on December 21. Sirena will restart on January 22 with

Scenic showcases five new Eclipse cruises in Europe for 2022-23


Scenic has added five voyages to flagship discovery yacht Scenic Eclipse’s 2022-23 Europe & the Mediterranean programme. A 12-day Authentic Andalucia


voyage in June 2022 from Valletta to Lisbon via the Spanish coast, including calls in Sardinia and Sicily, is priced from £5,290. A 12-day Sorrentine Peninsula


and Adriatic voyage from Rome to Venice, departing in April 2023, calls at Capri, Leranto and Lipari on the Amalfi Coast, Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor and Dubrovnik, Croatia. Prices start from £6,475. Other sailings span Italy, Greece and Malta. Scenic has also unveiled

Riviera to cover Covid test costs till June 30


Riviera Travel will cover the costs of all testing required under the UK’s traffic light system for guests booking European river cruises and yacht sailings in July and August when booked by June 30. Lines launch Alaska summer cruises after Biden’s go-ahead

Several cruise lines have released Alaska itineraries for this year after US president Joe Biden signed a bill allowing the resumption of cruise in the state. Sister lines Royal Caribbean International and


Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Corporation’s Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Holland America Line are all offering Alaska sailings from Seattle, starting in July. Norwegian Cruise Line is set to resume Alaska


sailings in August. Prices for a Royal Caribbean seven-night sailing,


departing from Seattle on July 26, 2021, lead in at £896. Ports of call include Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan. Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Summit will also operate


seven-night round-trip sailings from Seattle. Prices for a departure on September 3, 2021, calling at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, start at £1,191. Princess Cruises will offer seven-day Inside Passage

its 2023 programme, which includes Alaska voyages. Seabourn Odyssey will operate 18 Alaska sailings,


ranging from seven to 11 days, between May and October 2023. The lead-in price for a 10-day Alaska Fjords Odyssey sailing, departing from Vancouver, Canada, on June 9, 2023, is £5,499. Ports of call include Ketchikan, Sitka and the Inian Islands.
