Viking Star to sail from Malta from July
Viking is to deploy a third ship to sail round-trip voyages from the Maltese capital city of Valletta from July. Viking Star will sail a new 11-day itinerary, Malta & the Western Mediterranean. Prices for the sailing, departing on July 27, lead in at £2,790. Ports of call include Sicily, Naples, Civitavecchia for Rome, and Barcelona.

Holland America’s Eurodam to take over Westerdam itineraries
Holland America Line’s Eurodam will take on the previously scheduled cruises of Westerdam in the Mediterranean this autumn after a reshuffle of the line’s ships. The 2,104-passenger vessel
will sail five 12-day itineraries from Italy, Greece or Spain between September 12 and October 30 after it resumes
operations on August 15. Eurodam’s itineraries include
a round-trip cruise from Venice; sailings between Venice and Piraeus (Athens); from Venice to Barcelona; and from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prices for the Aegean & Ionian
Gems sailing, departing Venice on September 12, lead in at £2,099. Bookings for the new sailings
on Eurodam opened last week. Customers who were booked
on Westerdam cruises will be automatically rebooked on the
same departure date aboard Eurodam in a comparable cabin.

NCL unveils global programme of sailings starting in October

Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its worldwide ship deployment from this autumn, with sailings in Hawaii, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Asia and Australia. All four of the line’s Breakaway Plus-class vessels –
Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore – will resume operations. Norwegian Joy will offer five to 11-day Caribbean
voyages out of Miami, starting from October 19, while Norwegian Escape will sail week-long itineraries from Florida’s Port Canaveral from November 20. Prices for the latter’s Caribbean sailings start at £829. Norwegian Bliss will operate seven-day Mexican
Riviera voyages from Los Angeles from November 7. Ports of call include Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan, with rates for the first sailing from £1,706. Norwegian Encore is set to sail seven-night

been released. Norwegian Breakaway will operate seven-day sailings
to Bermuda from New York, starting on October 24, while Norwegian Pearl will offer cruises in the Bahamas, Caribbean and the Panama Canal from December 23. Norwegian Jewel will offer round-trip Panama Canal
cruises from Panama City, starting on January 20, 2022. Norwegian Spirit will operate 12-day Australia and
New Zealand voyages from Sydney and Auckland, beginning on February 9 next year. Norwegian Sun will be based in Asia for the first time.
Starting on January 28, 2022, it will operate a five-day Japan itinerary from Hong Kong before sailing a series of 11-day cruises from Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok. NCL’s Pride of America will sail week-long Hawaii
island voyages out of Honolulu from November 6, 2021.

Crystal Cruises beefs up Bahamas
schedule with six new sailings Crystal Cruises has added six week-long voyages on Crystal Serenity in the Bahamas between October 23 and November 7. Part of the line’s Luxury Bahamas Escapes programme, three of the additional sailings are round-trip from Nassau, and three are round-trip from Bimini. Prices for the sailings lead in at $1,199. All Bahamas voyages are now on sale.
