Gardaland to make a splash with Legoland Italy’s Gardaland Resort will open Europe’s first Legoland Water Park on June 15. The Lego-themed water park, aimed at children aged two to 12, is the first built in a non-Legoland park, and includes a Miniland for younger children. Sandals starts work on development of three new properties


Sandals Resorts International has begun work on a multimillion- dollar project to add three resorts in Jamaica and launched an offer on longer stays booked this month. The all-inclusive specialist


announced in April it would convert the former Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort & Spa in Ocho Rios into Sandals Dunn’s River. This is due to be completed by late 2022, with Sandals Royal Dunn’s River scheduled to follow in 2023. The company also plans to create a 400-room Beaches Runaway Bay resort. Travel Curious has added an agent portal to its website to enable the trade to earn commission from the sale of tours and activities around the world. The tours and activities specialist offers private,


guide-led tours, with more than 600 available in more than 70 cities, as well as access to virtual tours for those unable to travel. It has designed the portal with homeworking agents in mind but said it can be used by all agents and hotel concierges. Users can search by location, type and price to find and book private cultural tours and experiences suited to their customers’ needs. Agents can make bookings on the Travel Curious

Nest! has an area with play equipment suitable for all young children, including those with disabilities. It includes a dragon tower with two slides and a large ship, and has been made level, without any barriers, to allow easy access for wheelchair users.
