Cruise lines’ wave offers include free flights and upgrades

Cut-price deals, discounted drinks packages, free flights and stateroom upgrades are among cruise lines’ wave offers this year. Royal Caribbean
International is offering 60% off the second fare for a cruise for 2020 or 2021 booked by March 31. Passengers can also save up to
£125 on stateroom bookings, while children’s fares are available from £99 on selected sailings across the line’s 26-ship fleet. Discounts of up to £60 are
available on Royal sailings of three
to five nights, while six-night cruises will be reduced by up to £125. Celebrity Cruises is offering
additional onboard credit on select sailings, including ex-Southampton itineraries on renovated Celebrity Silhouette, for bookings made by March 3. AquaClass staterooms and lower categories receive $200, while Suite Class stateroom bookings qualify for an extra $700. The line is also offering a 50%
discount on the fare for the third, fourth or fifth guest in any stateroom on selected sailings until April 2021. Holland America Line
has revived its Why Not Now? Virgin Voyages to pay either 3% or 6% in bonu
Virgin Voyages is offering UK agents up to 6% bonus commission on selected sailings. In addition to the 10% base
commission paid on everything sold pre-cruise, agents will be eligible for a further 3% on all bookings made in the next 12 months, as well as another 3% on sailings that depart in April or May.
24 2 JANUARY 2020 Virgin Voyages’ first ship,
Scarlet Lady, will depart for its maiden voyage on April 1, 2020. Prices for the inaugural four- night Fires and Sunset Soirées sailing, departing from Miami, start at £3,140. The vessel will host about 1,000 UK agents when it visits Dover and Liverpool in February.
