Dubai, UAE

LOCATION: Perched on the man-made, seahorse-shaped island of Jumeirah Bay, Bvlgari Resort Dubai is a 25-minute drive from the airport and just 20 minutes from Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Jumeirah Bay is connected to the mainland by a 300-metre-long bridge, giving the hotel a feeling of being worlds away from the razzmatazz of Dubai, yet close enough to jump in and out of the action. Architecturally, the building is stunning with a porcelain-like coral design running around the main section, creating beautiful shadow patterns when the sun hits it. Inside, the lobby space is inviting and the staff are at your service from the moment you arrive.

THE FACTS: The resort opened in 2017 with 101 rooms and suites, plus 20 hotel villas. All accommodation features high-quality Italian furniture brands such as Maxalto, Flos and Fexform, while the bathroom toiletries are Bvlgari, of course! A centrepiece in each room is the giant Bvlgari leather trunk, home to the minibar. For ultimate space and serenity, ÀiVommin` VliinÌà Look > Ûill>° /hiÀi >Ài wÛi V>Ìi}oÀiià available, depending on bedroom requirements, and clients can connect multiple villas. Each comes with butler service, a pool and gazebo. As well as the resort, the property is home Ìo Ìhi LÀ>n`½Ã wÀÃÌ

from a brand such as Bvlgari, the spa is exceptional. With eight treatment rooms, a 25-metre indoor pool with sea views and a Workshop Gymnasium, guests will leave feeling rejuvenated.

On the food front, there’s much to rave about too. Il Ristorante – Niko Romito serves sumptuous Italian cuisine by the i«onÞmoÕÃ >Ü>À`-Üinnin} Vhiv° >«>niÃi ÀiÃÌ>ÕÀ>nÌ ŦÃiki is an intimate affair, with just nine seats. Il Café is a more casual experience, while the Lobby Lounge offers Italian teas and coffees and delicious pastries and cakes. Pool-side restaurant La Spiaggia is popular day and night, with lanterns and candlelight creating a wonderful atmosphere. There’s also a chocolatier to tempt you every time you stroll past. The resort’s beach club has plenty of cabanas, with a children’s pool and Little Gems Kids’ Club nearby.

IDEAL FOR: Anyone with cash to splash will feel at home here.

EXPLORE: Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall are a short drive away, which is perfect for clients wanting to shop ‘til they drop.

WOW: This is one of Dubai’s most expensive hotels for a reason. Service is top-notch and everything oozes luxury, from the pristine furnishings and divine eateries to the stunning aesthetics. You’ll be treated like royalty, and don’t be surprised if you’re mingling with actual royalty too! This is a millionaire’s playground in every sense.

BOOK IT: One night at Bvlgari Resort Dubai leads in at £1,470.
