POWTECH IS A NAME SYNONYMOUS WITH THE LIVE EXPERIENCE OF NEW MACHINES AND PLANTS, FOR TRYING things out and talking shop and being truly “hands-on” with the industry. Such experiences, unfortunately, have had to be largely dispensed with in this exceptional year. But the name also stands for the exchange of knowledge at eye-level between experts and for problem-solving across all industry boundaries. And it is this dialogue that we are committed to continuing with you - and precisely the reason we have created a completely new platform with POWTECH WORLD Magazine, the first issue of which you are reading today. We are aware of the many innovations and technological developments that our exhibitors have prepared in the 18 months since the last edition of the fair. For them, POWTECH WORLD Magazine now offers a virtual stage to present products and services and to talk about successful solutions. And those who, as visitors, will miss what they had earmarked as a “must-attend” event will hopefully find interesting suggestions and useful new contacts here.
With this issue and with future issues, POWTECH WORLD Magazine will build a bridge from one event to the next. And more than that: it will act as a link between the global events of POWTECH WORLD, an alliance of leading trade fairs in the field of powder and bulk solids technologies. POWTECH WORLD includes POWTECH in Nuremberg, IPB China and POWTECH India, all leading events organised by the NürnbergMesse Group. They are currently scheduled for 2021.
