Powtech World Magazine Advertorial

While we were not able to exhibit at POWTECH this year, we were busy working on some challenging projects in the meantime. Here are a few examples

WE DEVELOPED TWO MIXER-COOLERS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BATTERY POWDERS. VERY THIN, HEAT conductive, ceramic coating on all contact parts ensured that contact between fine powder and metal surface was avoided. The jacketed drum and scoops provide an optimal heat exchange. Our collaboration with a European customer, a Chinese engineering team and an installation team which is based in Scandinavia was given a special spin by COVID. Others included: Mixer for an instant drinks manufacturer in Indonesia We were honoured that a client since the 90s with various types of Lindor mixers in use chose us again. Key features of this project included high-volume, high- mixing accuracy, high powder quality requirements in the sense of homogeneity, particle shape and size, solubility, minimal dust generation, no segregation. Mixer for delicate cosmetic powders for a multinational supplier in Latin America Our Lindor 1500-litre batch mixer with a liquid injection system tackled the problem of mixing delicate and aggressive cosmetic powders with liquids and pigments while improving processing safety, efficiency and quality. Mixer-impregnator for animal feed nutritional ingredients in China We built a 3000-litre mixer with a high-flow liquid injection system, adding 1,000-litre liquid to 1,500kg of silica in just a few minutes.

LINDOR MIXING & PROCESSING

This created a homogeneous powder with valuable nutrients which is dry and flowing. The application has proved itself over the past 10 years at a European plant. Vacuum-mixer-dryer for a sensitive powder for a global pharma company in the Netherlands We partnered with a German system integrator for this one. The main challenge was to consider the need for drying the powder with a high moisture content as this is a crucial step in the process of making the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). Many powders are more sensitive to shear forces than

realised. The Lindor Capsule vacuum dryer was installed in a fully-robotised production line. Personal Contact We miss the personal contact at POWTECH and are more than happy to talk with you by phone, video or during a special visit.
