POWTECH IPB CHINA 2020 | JULY 29-31 POWTECH INDIA 2021

record figures which showed a 15 per cent growth in exhibitor numbers over 2017 to 8,596 and an impressive market-oriented supporting programme with top-level participation. That event brought together 163 exhibitors. Bulk solids and process engineering firms from 12 countries were represented, with about a third of the exhibitors – nearly 60 - coming from outside China. Afterwards, 88 percent of exhibitors described themselves as happy, and 81 per cent hoped to attend again in 2019. That proved to be more than insightful as visitor numbers rose again, this time by 30 percent as they welcomed 11,366 visitors back to hall 4 where the display area had been increased by 19 per cent to more than 3,000 square metres. That event brought together the entire spectrum of modern process engineering solutions for industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, pit and quarry, recycling and other sectors that process bulk solids. Around 30 per cent of the exhibitors

were internationally renowned companies including

leading innovators such as

Rembe, Netzsch, Malvern-Panalytics, Wam, Hoerbiger, Aviteq, Sympatec, Kawata and Schenck - proof of the unabated growth potential of process engineering industries in China. With the strong support of POWTECH World and joint efforts of NürnbergMesse China and the Chinese Society of Particuology, IPB has now been successfully held in China for 18 editions. IPB 2021 will take place on July 28-30 at the same venue.
