Subject to securing favourable terms and conditions from various third parties, the company projects the Texas facility to be commissioned 24-30 months following a Final Investment Decision (FID). The company is also exploring strategic partnership opportunities globally to accelerate production at additional sites.


The future is clear and bright As the industry shifts toward re-refined Group III base oils, it is important that everyone plays their part in ensuring a positive future. Governments need to continue to introduce and enforce policies and regulations which encourage the recycling of used motor oils, as well as consider the use of financial


incentives to speed up the process. The lubricant and wider petroleum industry needs to continue to collaborate and look at ways to accelerate Group III re-refined base oil production facilities coming online. And finally, more research and development activity needs to take place to highlight the high-quality characteristics of re-refined Group III base oils.


By working together, the industry can take something which is dirty and highly pollutant and turn it into something which can be of great benefit to our society.
