Steve Mayo announces retirement from Certas Lubricant Solutions after decades of exemplary service in the lubricants industry
Certas Lubricant Solutions has announced the retirement of Steve Mayo; a distinguished leader whose career in the lubricants industry has spanned over three decades. Steve’s retirement marks the end of an era, highlighting a journey of dedication, innovation, and significant contributions to the field.
Steve Mayo began his illustrious career in the lubricants industry in 1989, quickly establishing himself as a knowledgeable and reliable professional. His expertise and commitment to excellence propelled him through various pivotal roles within the industry, working in Polartech, and Quaker Houghton for a number of years, before culminating in his latest position of European Managing Director of Certas Lubricant Solutions. Under his guidance, the company has seen remarkable growth and has solidified its position as a market leader.
During his tenure as President of the UKLA (2016-2017), Steve championed numerous initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, innovation, and best practices within the lubricants sector. His efforts have not only enhanced the reputation of the
