EVENTS Lubmat Ibertrib 24
LUBMAT IBERTRIB 24 the Lubrication, Tribology and Condition Monitoring Congress takes place on June 18, 19 and 20 at the Kursaal Elkargunea Center in San Sebastian, Spain.
During this event, fifteen international speakers will address the main challenges the industry will be facing over the next years regarding industrial lubricants, tribology and condition monitoring. In addition, LUBMAT-IBERTRIB 2024 will also feature more than 100 contributed papers to be presented during the conference exploring the most recent trends and progress made in areas such as asset management, industrial sustainability and lubricant evolution.
With the assistance of Gerardo Trujillo from Noria Latin America discussions will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on maintenance and plant reliability. How IA is transforming the way industrial assets are managed and how their status can be monitored to optimise performance and reliability.

During LUBMAT-IBERTRIB 2024, in-depth debates will also look into the challenge related to sustainability in the industry. New technologies and practices will be explored to enhance energy efficiency and make better use of lubrication resources. Aldara Naveira from SKF RecondOil, among others, will talk about the Circular use of oil and the effect of nano-clean oil on machine performance.
Another area of interest will address how lubricants have evolved over the years although specifically focusing on the challenges faced until now and the progress made regarding formulating products that are more efficient and fully adapted to meet market requirements. Emerging technologies for electric vehicles and advanced technological applications will also be discussed.
