EVENTS TriboUK 2024
The 19th TriboUK conference will be held on the 19th and 20th June at the University of Southampton.
Every year, TriboUK has been a platform for researchers to share their work, exchange knowledge, collaborate within the field of tribology and connect with like-minded individuals within the tribology community. It has been a gateway to building relationships and expanding networks.
TriboUK 2024 will showcase a blend of oral and poster presentations from students, post-doctoral researchers and keynote speakers – featuring experts from industry and academia. Additionally, there will
be an expert panel session designed to discuss key topics of interest within the Tribology community. Attendees should look forward to networking opportunities as well as a drinks reception and conference dinner. It promises to be an enriching and interactive event.

UNITI 2024 Mineral Oil Technology Congress: Positive outcome for industry get-together
The UNITI Mineral Oil Technology Congress on 16-17 April 2024 in Stuttgart proved to be a success and reaffirmed its status as the most important European industry get-together with over 530 participants from the fuels and lubricants industry and from vehicle manufacturers.
The UNITI 2024 Mineral Oil Technology Congress featured practice-oriented presentations by top speakers from various sectors of the mineral oil and additive industry as well as the automotive industry. The key issues facing the fuel and lubricant industry today and in the future in relation to reducing carbon emissions, increasing efficiency and sustainability were discussed, covering a wide range of topics. Increasing efficiency and sustainability were explored from various angles.
Apart from its extensive selection of fascinating presentations, the congress is routinely hailed as a major gathering place for the international fuels and lubricants industry. Participants can discuss trends and developments face-to-face. ‘As always, we’re thrilled that our event concept was a success this year. More than 530 enthusiastic participants from 28 nations clearly show that the congress doesn’t just have a strong reputation as the leading mineral oil technology conference in European industry circles, but that it’s also a globally recognised event,’ says UNITI Managing Director Edwin Leber, summing up the positive outcome of UMTF 2024.
