A warm welcome to our October issue.
We continue our STEM programme with a great article from IMCD and Drs Emma Guthrie and Andrew Gelder who have been out spreading the joy of science at secondary school level.
We have great articles this month from Lubrizol, Chevron Oronite, Afton Chemical, Slicer Recycling in partnership with Avista Green (this being part two of a series of four articles). Plus, an insight into sustainable manufacturing with Jeremy Aston-Phillips from Rowe Lubricants.
A very special feature this issue to mark the 10th anniversary of the VLS is an article authored by Alan Outhwaite - COMPLEX CHEMISTRY: A Technical Review of VLS Investigations: 2013 – 2023!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Shah at ELGI in Amsterdam this year, and would like to personally thank him (and his associates) for their continued editorial support of Lube Magazine and Lube Digital.
