New vessels signal strength at Millers

Leading oils and lubricants manufacturer, Millers Oils, has installed three new 18 tonne blending vessels which will now allow the company to produce its products in higher volumes.

The new vessels have a capability of blending from 2,500 to 17,000 litres of product and will be used to blend Millers’ high volume grades, such as hydraulic oils, diesel engine oils and textile / industrial lubricants.

Millers Oils’ director of operations, Bob Weale, said: “Although we already have a large number of blending vessels, we require larger vessels to improve blending efficiency, and improve lead times as well as also providing us with the opportunity to develop new opportunities for the business.

“Millers is continually attracting new customers and our existing customers remain fiercely loyal due to the superb quality of our products. It is this reputation that has helped us to remain strong in a challenging market affected by fluctuating crude oil prices and the new vessels will play a large part in helping us to maintain this position.”
