When I started writing Ruthless Women, the first book in my chart-topping trilogy, I never imagined the rollercoaster ride I was getting onto. Debuting at number 4 on the Sunday Times bestseller list, it stayed in the top ten for four weeks and in the top 50 for 25 weeks. Despite a pandemic and a recession, Ruthless Women and its follow-up, fellow top-ten bestseller Guilty Women, have sold over 500,000 copies across 8 languages – not bad for a book 38 publishers initially said had ‘no market!’


After an incredibly disheartening experience with a major publisher, who poached me from the wonderful indie Head of Zeus, I’ve decided to take charge of releasing the final book in the trilogy – and my personal favourite – myself.


Vengeful Women is published through my own new imprint, Piranha Publishing: Books with Bite, which is fast becoming a beacon for authors who feel just as let down by some publishing houses as I did. Judging by my waiting list, I’m certainly not alone! So watch this space for my new ‘little indie’ – a publisher with big ambitions, committed to delivering on its promises. I hope readers love Vengeful Women as much as I loved writing it. With the showstopping marketing campaign and deluxe special edition hardback I’ve planned, I’m aiming to hit that top ten hardback position again – and if I do, there might just be a fourth book, so stay tuned...
