Küppersbusch has unveiled its new K-Series.5 induction hob with downdraft extractor. The A+ rated, 80cm hob boasts 13 power levels and ‘glideControl’ for optimum cooking control, the company says. When activated, the vario induction function allows the user to create a larger cooking space by ‘bridging’ two zones together. The A-rated integral downdraft extractor offers 10 power levels. Hoover has launched what it is describing as its ‘smartest’ laundry collection to-date. The complete H-Wash and H-Dry collection boasts 39 washing machines, 13 washer dryers and two heat pump tumble dryers. Appliance giant Beko has developed HygieneShield – a portfolio of seven appliances featuring built-in disinfectant programs. Using UV light technology, heat and steam, the range – which includes a built-in oven, dishwasher (pictured), refrigerator, washing machine and tumble-dryer – has the power to kill more than 99% of bacteria and viruses, including coronavirus, the company says. WESTIN | Stratus Mono
Westin’s new Stratus Mono hood features a central panel – mechanised by gas supports – that sits fl ush with the ceiling. When the hood is activated, the panel then descends to increase the extraction catchment area and enables direct air fl ow into the hood which improves performance and effectiveness by 7% when compared to conventional ceiling hoods, the company says.
