Bedrooms are a profitable opportunity for retailers to expand their business. Vicki Evans looks at these dry fits that allow for quick installations with good profit margins and create an excellent opportunity to upsell customers.

edrooms are sometimes considered an afterthought or something to add on to


a more extensive renovation. However, having bedroom design skills in your back pocket could open up lucrative new sales opportunities for retailers. All the experts kbbreview spoke to


this article unequivocally agreed that bedrooms are a profitable option for retailers as they provide good margins on furniture without the hassle of installations involving multiple trades. Although bedroom furniture is often


closely related to kitchen ranges, it makes just as much sense for bathroom retailers to dive into this area too. Homes that have en suites installed would benefit from having a fresh


new bedroom complete the renovation.


One vocal advocate for retailers selling bedroom furniture is Ashleigh Hanwell, senior designer at PWS, who says: “We know kitchens will always be the most profitable area in the home, but bedroom installations are considerably easier and with multiplesbedrooms in a home, and it
