Q: How does your new bathroom collection help retailers create a spa-like experience in their customers’ homes? A: All of our mirrors and cabinets have tunable white LED lighting, which can help to create a different ambience depending on the time of day, or create a particular mood. Tunable White (CCT) offers the user the ability to change the colour of their lighting from warm, to natural or to cool white to suit the individual décor or individual preference. Our mirrors can also be dimmed to
provide a cosy feel for a relaxing spa-like experience within the home. Each mirror features modern touch- control buttons on the front for ease of switching and dimming. Some feature Bluetooth speakers and shaver sockets.

Q: And what support do you offer retailers who may be new to designing lighting schemes? A: Here at Sycamore, we have a fully trained and knowledgeable design and technical department, which offers a free design service for all our trading clients. So if someone sends in a layout with a design brief, our qualified lighting design staff will work out what’s needed and ensure everything complies with the relevant regulations, as well as offering suggestions on what would work best within any given design. For example, adding the finishing touches to a bathroom with suitably IP-rated diffused LED flexible strips or small LED spotlights within a bathroom can create a stunning look. These can be situated within cupboards, alcoves, or shelves to add a bit of extra ambient lighting and illuminate any dark areas.
