MOORES ALEX DAVIES
Moores has recently appointed Alex Davies as its new key account manager for Persimmon. Having been part of the Moores team for over five years, Davies has previously worked as a major projects manager, developing a wealth of knowledge and expertise in client relations and partnership growth. Speaking about her new role, Davies said: “I understand the importance of detail and clear communication to our customer base. I am excited to be involved directly with Persimmon and focused on only this customer moving forward.”

Dale Johnson has joined JJO as the new area sales manager for the West Midlands kitchen and bedroom division.

Matt Hall, national sales manager for JJO said of Johnson’s appointment: “We are looking forward to working with Dale and are confident he will bring with him all the enthusiasm and energy needed to take on his new challenge. I have no doubt that he will further improve the quality of our kitchen and bedroom sales team.”
Utopia Furniture has appointed Isabel Conn as its new marketing and digital coordinator. Conn, who has a first- class honours degree in Visual Communication, will be a key member of the marketing team and, in particular, will assist in developing and growing the
company’s digital strategy.

LECICO BATHROOMS KATE HIRST
Lecico Bathrooms has announced the promotion of Kate Hirst from sales director to commercial director. In her new role, Hirst will assume respon- sibility for all of its customer-facing departments, including sales, demand generation, after-sales, and marketing, alongside her additional responsibilities within the senior management team. Hirst commented: “I have spent over 10 years at Lecico Bathrooms in a variety of positions. The company has fully supported my career development and I am very much looking forward to continuing to grow the UK business.”

Tim Broadhurst, former operations director at Wolseley, has been appointed
as specification sales
director at shower and accessories brand Merlyn. Tasked with enhancing Merlyn’s specifier offering across the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors, Broadhurst said: “I’m hugely passionate
about making sure
customer service is prioritised by sales leads and look forward to pulling a plan together to ensure we’re being as useful and inspirational as we can be for busy specifiers seeking solutions that achieve design and functionality.”

DANNY FOWLER
TKC has appointed Danny Fowler as area sales manager, covering Yorkshire and the north-east of England. He will be responsible for ensuring existing and new customer relations are strengthened and continue to grow, with a brief to continue driving sales in the region. Fowler said: “I’m thrilled to have joined TKC. The team is friendly and supportive, while my customers are happy with how we’re looking after them and we have plenty of stock on the ground.” Fowler is an experienced sales manager with a history of working in the furniture industry.
