Reiser Achieves D3 Flight Model Qualification for Swiss Air-Rescue Rega H145 Helicopter FFS


Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH recently


announced the successful


qualification of the D3 Flight Model for the H145 full flight simulator (FFS), which was handed over to Swiss Air-Rescue Rega last November. Certification was made by the Swiss Authorities, marking a major advancement in Rega’s training program and underscoring its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.


Rega‘s new FFS already featured a simulation of the H145D2 helicopter. Now, in line with Rega‘s coming all new fleet of H145D3 helicopters, the simulator reflects this latest five-bladed version of the H145D3 helicopter to fully and timely support the transition training of all Rega pilots.

PHI MRO Services Awarded Two Bell 407 Completions by Louisiana State Police


PHI MRO Services announced at the 2024 Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON) that it has been awarded a completion contract for two Bell 407 GXi helicopters by the Louisiana State Police Air Support Unit.


The Bell 407 GXi rotorcraft — known for their advanced


avionics, powerful performance and versatile applications — will undergo comprehensive completion services at PHI’s state- of-the-art MRO facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. These services will include the installation of mission-specific equipment, avionics integration and custom interior modifications tailored


to the operational needs of the Louisiana State Police. This significant contract underscores PHI MRO Services’ reputation for excellence and its role in enhancing public safety aviation capabilities by serving the law enforcement and government markets.
