UK PARENTS HELP LESS WITH HOMEWORK


A survey commissioned by the Varkey Foundation has found that only 11% of UK parents spend an hour per day helping their children with homework, far behind India at 62%. The survey also showed that parents in the UK scored well above average when it came to worries about their children’s future in terms of conflict and terrorism, similar to those in France and Germany. However, the survey also revealed that 87% of UK parents valued the quality of their children’s teachers. Read more at the BBC
