Healthcare Estates – Manchester Healthcare Estates is a unique two-day event that consists of the prestigious IHEEM Annual Conference, the UK’s largest trade exhibition for the sector, and the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards Dinner. This year the event will be held at Manchester Central in Manchester from 8-9 October, and will include the hosting of the 2019 IFHE Europe Conference.

IHEEM 2019 Regional Conference and Exhibition – Cardiff The IHEEM 2019 Regional Conference and Exhibition will be a one-day event held in Cardiff on 5 September 2019, and is being organised by IHEEM, which is working with the IHEEM Wales Branch.

Covering all aspects of the design, build, management, and maintenance of healthcare buildings and facilities, the event has been running for over 60 years, and is recognised by healthcare estates professionals as one of the most important events of the year, attracting over 3,000 delegates and visitors. The conference theme: ‘Where
Innovation, Technology and Leadership Meet’, will be explored through three parallel conference streams, covering: Strategy & Leadership; Engineering & Facilities Management; and Planning, Design and Construction. Alongside the Conference at Healthcare
Estates, there will be series of free-to-attend Theatres on the Exhibition floor. These provide specialist content and case studies with over 30 hours’ CPD accredited by IHEEM. Ten awards will be presented at the

The conference headline is: HEATWAVE! The weather of 2018 was very hot and dry compared with past years, followed by wind and rain giving flooding. The conference will look at the effect of these climate changes on the healthcare estate and its support and operational services.
