IHEEM’s new President, Ian Hinitt, who is currently interim deputy director of Estates at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust, will outline some of his key goals and aspirations during his two-year Presidency at this year’s President’s Address and Awards Ceremony, an evening event being held on 14 November at the Institution of Structural Engineers in London (pictured below). The evening will begin at 7.00 pm with refreshments, a chance to network, and to visit the stands of the evening’s sponsors, followed by a welcome to guests at 7.30 pm. Ian Hinitt will then give his inaugural address, discussing some of his plans and goals during his two-year tenure, after which guests will be able to ask him any questions they may have. The ‘Q&A’ session will be followed by an Awards Ceremony. Following closing remarks, the evening will end with a further opportunity to renew acquaintances, talk to the IHEEM President (who is pictured above with outgoing President, Pete Sellars, at the IHEEM 75th Anniversary Drinks Reception on board HMS Warrior in Portsmouth in mid-August), discuss membership matters with a number of the head office team, and generally ‘network’ at a Networking Drinks Reception with canapés.

IHEEM Membership Development manager, Chris Parker, said: “Guests will

include IHEEM Past-Presidents and Committee members, key stakeholders from across the healthcare estates sector, guests of the President, award-winners, IHEEM Company Affiliates, and other specially invited guests. For our IHEEM Company Affiliates we are offering the opportunity to sponsor the event. Whether you want to showcase a new product, develop new business leads and partnerships, or raise your profile within the sector, then contact us to discuss the packages available.” For more information on the IHEEM President’s Address and Awards Ceremony 2018, telephone: 023 9282 3186, email: events@iheeem.org.uk, or visit www.tinyurl.com/y7hxzsen
