Advantech-Innocore displays all-in-one gaming system


with JAMMA and AMD Ryzen Embedded Processors Advantech-Innocore details its new DPX-J100 gaming system. Te DPX-J100 is a complete gaming system for the regulated casino, AWP, redemption and skill-based gaming markets, combining all the hardware features necessary for a gaming platform together in a high performance industrial-grade system at a low price point.


Te new DPX-J100 is designed from the ground up for low cost but without compromising performance and reliability. Te JAMMA format connector design for I/O and power is well established in the gaming and amusements sectors as a reliable, low-cost basis for cabinet harnessing.

Te DPX-J100’s JAMMA connectors include an array of I/O and COMs including amplified speaker outputs, button deck and switch inputs, intrusion inputs and fifteen discrete outputs that can be expanded to twenty-three. A dedicated solid-state relay output together with native support for legacy VGA monitors allows the DPX- J100 to be used in many retrofit applications.


At the heart of the DPX-J100 is the AMD Ryzen Embedded processor, which includes high- performance dual-and quad-core APU devices based on the AMD “Zen” CPU architecture. Supporting up to 32GB DDR4 system RAM, the DPX-J100 is even ready for mission critical applications that require an ECC memory option.


Te discrete-level Radeon “Vega” graphics outputs to three independent monitors via VGA, DisplayPort DP++ port, and HDMI ports with 4k support on the latter two. Te graphics engine features the AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) 5

An optional secure enclosure is available for the DPX-J100 depending on the customer’s preference and local jurisdictional requirements.


Te system is compatible with Advantech’s software solutions for security, media validation, SAS and diagnostics and other on-board security features include an optional TPM, FRAM non- volatile memory (up to 2MB) and a one-wire/iButton interface.


A wide variety of storage devices are supported including SATA DOM, C-Fast, USB drive and even an M.2 interface for the latest solid state storage modules including hardware write-protectable NVME OPAL devices available from Advantech.
