Improved design methods for wave impacts on offshore wind turbines


This year MARIN closed the very successful Wave impact on Fixed foundations WiFi I and II JIP. During the JIPs, more than 250,000 wave events were simulated and full-scale measurements were carried out for a Vestas V90 turbine located at Belwind wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
