e is one thing that many of us in the poultry industry like to do, it is share our knowledge for the better of the in- dustry as a whole. It doesn’t matter whether Covid-19 is causing havoc in our daily schedules or not, our birds encoun- ter the same problems as always and the way we produce is under the same scrutiny as ever. That said, trying to reach each other and ell others about your latest insights, research and experiences, is more difficult when in lock- wn or facing travel restrictions and exhibition cancellations. However, as valuable as face-to-face meetings are, e a e other ways that are at least as impactful. Poultry World and its Misset sister brands recently held the Misset International Webinar week, with ten webinars, four of which revolved around gut health, antibiotic reduction and welfare in poultry. Through these webinars we were able to reach many thousands of people in our industry – with speakers from almost every continent in the world, live in the studio or via video link – we were able to share the latest knowledge, inspire with case studies from across the globe and answer questions from the audience at home. Something I found really rewarding for myself as host, but which was at least as valuable for all the participants. In this issue of Poultry World you will find a short write up of the webinars, but to really get a feel for the event, I wholeheartedly recommend that you click on on-demand playback link.
