students with disabilities into BusPlanner, to give bus terminals ample opportunity to learn the system and understand the operational practices. “It’s always the unknown because you have different learning levels, where some folks may get it off the bat, and other folks it may take them one or two times around the block to understand it,” he said, noting that the transition has had its challenges, especially this time of year. “The progression that we’re making is really based on how well our bus terminals are grasp- ing the information and being able to translate it to the operational processes.” He said he’s been very transparent with all stakehold-
ers that this will take time to understand and grasp. “You have got to stay on every group, every day to
ensure that they’re meeting your learning goals and expectations,” he said. General education routes are still being managed in the old system, with plans to start that rollout this month with three-times the number of students. ner], which consists of weekly sometimes daily huddles with all effective groups,” he said. “They’ve been in- strumental, because they understand the task at hand and the timing of it. To begin an implementation plan for the start of the school year is unheard of. BusPlan- ner has been very up front with providing assistance. They’ve been on site just about every week, providing training and updates. We’ve done virtual meetings. We’ve done face-to-face meetings. There have been
