Collaborate and align efforts with partners to create greater impact. Building strong partnerships
To bring more to our members we’re dedicated to developing partnerships with the brands and organisations that matter to you:
• We’re proud to have been named Official Community Impact Partner ahead of the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix Portsmouth. As Official Community Impact Partner, we’re running an action-packed programme of events to celebrate inclusion and community in sailing. Alongside SailGP, we’ll be working with local youth in Portsmouth as part of the SailGP Better Sport ambition and the STEM-based SailGP Next Gen Challenge.
• Also at the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix Portsmouth, we’ll be working with the pioneering Andrew Simpson Foundation and the 1851 Trust at our RYA Beach Club. This pop-up event will give young people from across the city the chance to try wing surfing and keelboating.
• Lasting partnerships are the ones that have the most impact – that’s why we’re so pleased to be continuing our work with Musto, Marlow Ropes, Harken and Yamaha. Musto will be with the British Sailing Team all the way to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, developing high-performance technical clothing alongside our elite sailors.
• Periods shouldn’t stop anyone taking to the water. That’s why WUKA, an innovative brand that offers period-friendly aquatic apparel, has become our Official Period Partner. Young sailors within key programmes such as the NI Sailing Team and the RYA Scotland Performance Pathway will have access to WUKA’s period swimwear. RYA members also get a 10% discount on WUKA products.
• RS Sailing, the world’s largest dinghy manufacturer, has been confirmed as the Official Supporter of RYA Connected, helping us bring better training to more people across our regions.
