Hello and welcome to the May/June issue of Tomorrow’s Retail Floors!

Grey has been the way forward in interiors over the last few years, with

monochrome madness also taking over the flooring world in 2017. Whilst the trend for darker shades is still going strong, people seem to be moving much more towards colour for 2018, with consumers and interior designers alike

opting for pastel shades in particular as a way to subtly inject a pop of colour to a room. To give you some inspiration for advising your customers on how they can do this, we have put together our best picks for pastel toned flooring and styles which complement pastel walls or furnishings.

Another trend that shows no sign of fading anytime soon is that of Scandinavian chic. Keeping this style at the forefront of its design process, Karndean Designflooring has introduced 15 new designs to its popular Knight Tile collection, inspired by the beauty and detail of Scandinavian pine. See these

additions in all their glory and discover their design potential in our Luxury Vinyl Tile section, where you can also find an impressive case study from Moduleo and expert advice from Amtico.

Elsewhere in the issue, we also have a special focus on Living Spaces. From hallways right through to bedrooms, our pages are brimming with advice and design ideas to help you provide the perfect flooring to turn your customer’s house into a home.

Happy reading!
