influential interiors pages, stars seem to be everywhere at the moment. homeowners can sprinkle some stardust into their living space.

Constellation Combinations

Some individuals may have opted for a statement wall instead and may seek advice on the best flooring options to complement the space.

Offering his expert advice, Callum Henderson, E-Commerce Manager at I Love Wallpaper, said: “With constellation-inspired wallpaper, create a celestial feel to a bedroom with dark navy carpets to continue the outer space theme. If your child’s bedroom is star themed with a solar-system-inspired wallpaper and colourful planet accessories such as bedding, let the walls be the statement and opt for light grey wooden floors. Alternatively, when looking to create an instant impression in a hallway, subtle star patterned tiles can be a great way to incorporate the trend into your home. Opt for black and white tiles for a versatile flooring design that can work well with blue painted walls.”

Be Tac-tile!

Incorporating stars into a space doesn’t have to be quite so obvious. The geometric trend is showing no sign of fading anytime soon, with tiles and LVT in particular giving a nod to the characterful Victorian-style floor tiles. Star-based shapes can also be used to evoke a Mediterranean-feel within a room.

Experts from Marmoliva explained its latest range of tiles: “Marmoliva has chosen the theme of “stars” for their new line Hidraulicos. Using a combination of European marbles of the highest quality (including Biancone, pink Veneto, red Verona, blue Bourgogne, among others), Marmoliva brings back Valencian modernism and recreates some of its most beautiful patterns, which can still be found in traditional houses in the Mediterranean coast of France and Spain.”
