HARVEY MARIA LAUNCHES MASTER CRAFTSMAN SERIES


Harvey Maria has launched a new collection of ultra-authentic wood effects. The new Master Craftsman Series, also known as the MSeries, includes four distinct collections of oak and wood plank designs, each with an incredibly realistic fine wood grain and highly tactile top surface. The new series is available exclusively to the UK consumer through Harvey Maria’s national network of Master Craftsman local retailers, for next-day delivery from UK stock.


Renowned for its striking patterned and designer collections, the launch of MSeries signals Harvey Maria’s continued expansion into the volume ‘wood’ market. The collection has been designed to enhance its wood offer, giving wider choice at the premium end of the market, where customers are looking for greater quality and authenticity. The launch follows the introduction of Harvey Maria’s Premium Wood Collection in 2016, which is now available in over 100 retail outlets.


The four new MSeries collections include Natural Plank, Natural Oak, Parquet Oak and Selected Woods. Natural Plank and Natural Oak include 14 decors, which each have a premium ‘registered emboss’ top surface. Natural Plank features the series’ most rustic designs, with strong graining and colour variation; six designs cluster around popular grey and mid oak tones, with bright, beachy ‘Cove’ and moody dark ‘Cinder’ at either end of the spectrum. Natural Oak has an elegant contemporary theme, in shades spanning from palest ‘White Oak’, through mid tones to rich conker-toned ‘Burgundy Oak’.


Parquet Oak replicates Natural Oak, in miniature scale. The six ‘mini-plank’ stave decors can be laid to create classic parquet patterns or combined with Natural Oak to form borders, thresholds and decorative features.

LOUIS DE POORTERE LAUNCHES ANTIQUARIAN USHAK


Inspired by the rug designs of the Turkish tribe from which it takes its name, Ushak is the latest addition to Louis de Poortere’s hugely popular Antiquarian series of hand-distressed vintage rugs.


Available in two designs, Turkish Delight and Suleiman Grey, Antiquarian Ushak uses a faded colour palette with occasional remnants of rich reds, teal and ochre for a time-worn look that’s the perfect addition in mid- century interiors and contemporary spaces alike. Revealing the details of delicate traditional pattern beneath a heavily-distressed effect, the designs are a tribute to Louis de Poortere’s manufacturing expertise.

Louis de Poortere’s Antiquarian collection brings back old favourites in a manner that’s modern and far from pastiche.


Jacquard woven from 100% cotton, Antiquarian Ushak goes through a hand- distressing process to create the time- worn look that’s proving a major driver in contemporary rug design. Featuring a natural anti-slip latex backing and available in a range of standard sizes from 140cm x 200cm up to 290 x 390cm, Antiquarian Ushak is now available from Louis de Poortere.

Woods - is an eclectic mix of reclaimed pine and engineered oak decors, in a contemporary grey and mid-toned oak palette. It includes eight individual designs created and positioned for the residential market.


All floors from the Master Craftsman Series have a distinct bevelled edge detail and provide a tough, waterproof and slip-resistant finish. They can be installed in all settings, over a plywood


or screeded subfloor, and are also suitable for installation with underfloor heating. Natural Plank, Natural Oak and Parquet Oak each measure 2.5mm and have a 25-year domestic warranty. Selected Woods measures 2.0mm and has a 20-year warranty. All collections are featured on Harvey Maria’s new MSeries retail display stand, and within a new brochure.
