For the Floor & More is a flooring solution company which thrives on putting the fun back into interior design. With a focus on colour, pattern, and “banning the beige”, the organisation is able to create bespoke vinyl flooring for different rooms, functions and styles. While its portfolio offers a huge range of patterns, they are all also fully customisable, so everything from the shades to the shapes can be changed to produce a one-of-a-kind design. This enables customers to get bespoke flooring at a reasonable price, tailored to their every need.
One particular customer found this out first-hand when reinvigorating his hallway floor. He needed a floor that matched the original blue and white tiles, and decided vinyl was the best option. For the Floor & More was then responsible for creating a floor that exactly matched what was already there - including the colours and grout lines. The property owner wanted the floor to look as though there was no difference between the existing floor and the new vinyl flooring. It was quite a task, but For the Floor & More rose to the challenge.
In order to achieve this, a number of colour tests had to be carried out. The experts then created and sent colour swatches to the customer, who picked the one which was closest to the original flooring. They measured the existing tiles to ensure the shapes and sizes would be precise. They then produced the ‘tiled’ flooring on a roll and it was installed to fit alongside the existing, original flooring.

The end result was a high-quality flooring solution that is not only affordable, but durable and very easy to clean. All patterns are custom-printed and the vinyl is individually produced to the size of the customer’s floor. Available at a much greater width than the typical 1.3m to 2m cut, each design is available in super-wide panels of up to 2.9m, so spaces can be covered with fewer, if any, joins.
Turnaround for the bespoke products is under two weeks, along with flexible worldwide shipping. With an increasing number of design ranges, patterns can also be tweaked to complement a home by enabling an injection of personal style, colours or shapes.
For the Floor & More is a unique independent home decor company passionate about putting colour back into people’s homes. Born from a dissatisfaction with the limited flooring designs on offer, husband and wife founders, Joe and Louisa, started applying their print experience to produce their own patterned, non-slip vinyl flooring.
