WINTER MAINTENANCE

GET USED TO GRIT

As the frost begins to bite, estates professionals begin to look for a road surface safety solution that’s simple, affordable and adaptable. Steve Sinnott, Sales Manager at Econ Engineering, explains why gritter sprayers are one such solution.

incorporate a much larger capacity, increasing the area you can cover.

Furthermore, in-cab control means the driver can operate the trailer without stopping, saving time and making adjustments from the comfort of their vehicle.

Because the sprayer’s pump is driven via a hydraulic system from the trailer axle, there is no requirement for an external engine, reducing costs as there are no additional components to service.

Use your everyday vehicle all year round

Crucially, the trailer system offers increased versatility compared to a dedicated vehicle. With a trailer sprayer, the tow vehicle can be used for duties such as landscape gardening and transporting materials during the day.
