WASHROOM
the latter, there is often the temptation to cram as many towels as possible into the dispenser to postpone the moment when the supply runs out.
However, washroom visitors will struggle to extract a towel from an over-stuffed dispenser since the towels will be compressed under the weight of those above. And “tabbing” is likely to occur - where small portions of the towel are torn away to become scraps of paper on the floor. These scraps will then have to be cleared away, causing more work for the maintenance staff.
It is against this background that we have developed Tork PeakServe® Continuous® Hand Towel. This revolutionary new system incorporates the best of both worlds since it offers a higher capacity than any other hand towel system on the market - but can also be topped up at any time.
Clean, efficient toilets allow
visitors more time to spend at food and drink concessions.
Hand towels in the patented Tork PeakServe dispenser are compressed during production to make them twice as compact as standard towels. The dispenser can accommodate five bundles, each containing 410 towels. These bundles are linked together ensuring a continuous paper supply while giving out one sheet at a time. And it takes just a few seconds for the cleaner to insert a new bundle of towels into the dispenser which means the paper supply need never run out.
Tork PeakServe is the most significant hand drying innovation to have emerged on to the market in the past 20 years. It dramatically speeds up washroom visits because it provides each washroom visitor with a towel in just three seconds. This makes it much more efficient even than the fastest jet air dryers, which take at least 10 seconds to dry the hands.
This inevitably results in long queues, which quickly grow in washrooms where the dispensers have been allowed to run out. The same number of people will have to queue for fewer cubicles and dispensers, and this means logjams will occur. This will be a particular issue at the hand washing stations since even where a sufficient number of sinks have been installed; queues will quickly form around jet air dryers.
A hand towel dispenser will speed up the process – but how does one ensure that the supply of hand towels in a particularly busy washroom remains constant?
In the past, FMs have had to choose between a high- capacity hand towel roll dispenser and a folded towel system that can be quickly topped up. When choosing

Tork PeakServe can be refilled twice as fast as most conventional dispensers. This gives the cleaners more time to focus on more important tasks during busy periods without any concerns that the dispensers will run out of paper. Instead they can refill the units during quieter periods, which give them more flexibility.
Clean, efficient toilets that speed up washroom visits are good for business since they allow visitors more time visit to the food and drink concessions. And this in turn contributes to the overall success of the venue.
At high-traffic venues the principle is generally: the more people going through, the better for business. The features and benefits of Tork PeakServe empower facility managers and cleaning staff to handle a crowd with confidence.
