Setcrete Level-Smart represents the next generation of floor levelling compounds. It is a high-performance, fast-setting, fast- drying, water-mix levelling compound for smoothing and preparing substrates where old adhesive residues are present, prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. It is recommended for use in flooring refurbishments and projects that face tight time constraints or when a fast-track, time-saving option is simply preferred, without compromising on quality.
Setcrete Level-Smart can be applied over old adhesive residues, including bitumen, carpet tile tackifiers and ceramic tile adhesives, eliminating the need for mechanical removal, which would normally be required. In such applications, there is no need to prime beforehand, saving further time and expense.
Setcrete Level-Smart’s fast setting characteristics enable a walk-on time of just 90 minutes and new floorcoverings can be installed from four hours.
Setcrete Level-Smart is suitable for use over a wide range of subfloor types, including sand/cement screed, concrete, granolithic, terrazzo, asphalt, steel, old vinyl asbestos tiles, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles. In addition, it is suitable for application over screeds containing underfloor heating systems.
Because it is moisture tolerant, Level-Smart can also be applied to an uneven subfloor prior to the application of a liquid, epoxy damp proof membrane (DPM), such as Setcrete Rapid Set DPM.
It can be applied at thicknesses from 2-10mm unfilled, and up to 30mm filled.
