Thoughtlessly discarded chewing gum is not only a nuisance to the general public, it is a huge headache to the authorities and FM companies who have to remove it from streets, pavements, shopping centres and the public domain.
The GB1 and the GB Eco - part of OspreyDeepclean’s GumBusters’ brand - have been innovatively designed and manufactured to be cordless, quiet and simple to. These battery powered machines bust gum, one piece at a time and cost as little as £2.50 per hour to operate including consumables.
Thomas Stuecken, Chairman of OspreyDeepclean who manufactures the units said: “Acting on the demands of the industry, the next logical step was cable free and generator free steam production. The GB1 operates for up to six hours on a single battery charge, the GB Eco for up to 2.5 hours with either dry cell or Li battery. Both are silent in operation meaning they can be used in populated areas with minimal disruption.”
The unique premixed water/detergent tank is heated to become dry steam which dissolves the gum on contact. With some light agitation with a brush by the user, the gum is busted in approx. three seconds!
