PRESSURE WASHERS & GRAFFITI REMOVAL SPONSORED BY: KÄRCHER
THE SMARTEST WAY TO HANDLE PRESSURE
Kärcher’s latest award-winning solution for fatigue-free cleaning enables operatives to use their pressure washers for longer. Here we learn more about this new solution.
Pressure washers are a cleaning staple for businesses of all sizes. These versatile machines remove virtually all types of dirt – however when you’re using them day in day out, an important prerequisite for their efficiency is that the technology allows fatigue-free working, even during long periods of operation.
Whilst in principle, all pressure washers are constructed in a similar way, anyone using different models over a prolonged period soon notices significant differences – irrespective of on-paper performance data such as maximum working pressure or flow rate – in real-life, it is aspects such as convenient operation and ergonomics in particular that enable the operator to work more efficiently.
And this is why there’s so much excitement surrounding Kärcher’s new EASY!Force trigger gun and EASY!Lock accessories – the products recently won the Cleaning Show’s 2017 Innovation Award for Outdoor Cleaning, (although they can be used indoors too).
INNOVATION AWARDS
The result of comprehensive market analysis and extensive testing in the field, this new trigger gun and its associated accessories enhance all commercial Kärcher cold and hot water pressure washers*, completely reinventing the feel of operation.
EASY!FORCE The most exciting innovation is the trigger, which is pushed into the handle with the ball of the hand. When the trigger is operated, the recoil of the water jet automatically presses the trigger into the hand, which contributes to effortless use. The reduced force action prevents hand and finger strain and in turn muscle cramps. Accidental operation is prevented by a yellow safety lever in the handle. This can be released again after briefly operating the trigger.
THE SHOW 2017
CLEANING Winner
EASY!LOCK Kärcher has used this new trigger gun design as an opportunity to introduce further improvements. Many of those surveyed said that setting up and changing attachments was time- consuming and laborious. As a result, both interfaces from the trigger gun to the lance and high-pressure hose have been redesigned. A quadruple trapezoidal thread, ‘EASY!Lock’, allows a tight and reliable connection with only a single turn (360°). Further connections – from lance to nozzles and from hose to pressure washer – also feature the new ‘EASY!Lock’ thread. In this way, all components can be changed quickly and easily.
The valve has also been substantially improved, both main components, ball and valve seat, are now ceramic. This ensures a lasting and reliable seal.
Thanks to special adaptors, the new trigger gun can also be connected to existing pressure washers.

The adaptors can also be used to connect newly purchased pressure washers with the new thread to existing components.
