The cost per clean is also very low compared to traditional methods. Perfect for use on escalators and travellators in airports, shopping centres, office buildings and other commercial environments without the need of power or skilled operatives.


Kärcher stair and escalator cleaners deliver squeaky clean results on escalators and travellators – even whilst moving - in next to no time: ideal for both maintenance and deep cleaning, their excellent suction power ensures the applied water is consistently and reliably sucked back into the machine, preventing water from dripping into the escalator shaft beneath. The range includes three models: the BR 47/35 Esc for wet cleaning an escalator while moving; the smaller BR 45/10 escalator cleaner for dry maintenance cleaning and deep cleaning of escalators and travellators whilst they are still moving; and the convenient handheld BD 17/5 C, perfect for cleaning small hard surface areas and awkward angles such as stairs and window sills quickly in vertical or horizontal operation. All three units require very little training, and are easy to transport to and from sites, making them especially well-suited for contract cleaners.
