Interclean 2020 Tork will be helping businesses to attain new standards of hygiene at this year’s Interclean Amsterdam online event, which takes place 3-6 November 2020.

The Essity brand will be promoting its ‘Secure the new hygiene standard’ website and providing insights on how businesses can embrace the ‘new normal’.

Hazel Wenzel, Tork Segment Marketing Manager Commercial, said: “Cleaning and hand hygiene have never been more important and the requirements have never been greater. The industry is facing many new challenges which means the expectations of customers and guests are higher than ever.

“This year’s Interclean event therefore fills an important role and we hope that by gathering the industry together, we can help to improve public hygiene standards and ensure that people feel safe.”

The Tork ‘Secure the new hygiene standard’ facility is a one-stop resource hub for businesses keen to enhance their hygiene protocols under ‘new normal’ guidelines. The website offers a free downloadable Back to Business Toolkit to help companies ensure their customers feel safe.

Tork will host a series of virtual stage sessions and panel discussions at Interclean 2020. Products and systems in the spotlight will include the Tork PeakServe Continuous Hand Towel System, Tork skincare solutions, the Tork PaperCircle recycling service and Tork EasyCube.

Tork EasyCube aids social distancing while ensuring washroom dispensers are kept topped up at all times. The software allows cleaners to monitor washrooms via a smartphone or tablet, keeping tabs on refill needs remotely while also limiting their visits to washrooms where dispensers are running low.

Tork Foam Soap facilitates hand washing because the dispenser has been designed to be particularly easy to use, even for people with low hand strength. The unit holds a hygienically-sealed refill containing 2500 shots of soap – around two-and-a-half times the amount in most liquid soap systems – meaning a long-lasting supply is assured.

Tork’s PeakServe Continuous Hand Towel Dispenser works particularly efficiently in today’s socially-distanced washrooms because it takes just three seconds for each user to take out a towel and move on, whereas air dryers take at least 10 seconds to dry the hands thoroughly. The unit serves more than 1000 guests between refills, ensuring a long-lasting supply, and it provides washroom visitors with the option of using a towel as a barrier when touching door handles and light switches.

Hazel added: “The question of public hygiene is crucial for all parts of society and Tork is looking forward to gathering the industry and contributing to raising the hygiene standard through their participation in the online event.”
