COMMUNITY CLEAN-
UP CAMPAIGN Robert Scott has set its sights on a new campaign to give back to its customers’ local communities with its inaugural ‘Cleaning up your Community’ competition.
To mark the Great British Spring Clean Weekend, the company launched the competition on Friday 2 March 2018, giving customers the opportunity to nominate a worthy community project in need of some cleaning TLC.
The winning project will receive £500 worth of cleaning products and a day’s cleaning time from a professional team on behalf of Robert Scott, with four regional project finalists also receiving £250 worth of Robert Scott products.
All entrants will be judged by a panel of industry leaders including chairman of the British Cleaning Council, Stan Atkins, editor of Cleaning & Maintenance magazine, Neil Nixon, Head of Sales at Robert Scott, Gill Ireson, and Sales Director, Alastair Scott.

FILM PREMIERE RAISES £1,800 FOR
LOCAL HOSPICE Environmental support services company CountyClean Group hosted a special fundraising film on Thursday 15 February 2018, raising money for a local hospice.
Premiered at Eastbourne’s state- of-the-art performing arts hub, The Birley Centre, the film was created by Smokescreen Visuals Ltd at a variety of locations throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London.

of Eastbourne, Stephen Lloyd MP, Eastbourne Borough Council leader Cllr David Tutt, members of Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce and professional business communities, as well as clients, partners and the company’s various teams.
Using Smokescreen’s expertise and drone resources, the film captured CoutyClean’s portfolio of commercial and household services such as interceptor cleaning, hazardous waste and bilge water disposal, grease trap and cesspit emptying, oil spill and flood emergency response, groundworks and installations, sewer and drain jetting and much more.

community@robert-scott.co.uk. Simply include the name and location of the project with a picture and the reasons why they should win. Deadline for entries is Monday 16 April 2018.

The events’ attendees raised £940 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice through an auction and raffle, and this total was matched by CountyClean Group, taking the total to £1,880. You can view the video online here.
