Bigger than dirt
We learn more about the CV 30/2 Bp cordless vacuum brush from Kärcher, and the Kärcher Battery Universe.
The ‘Kärcher Battery Universe’ offers two types of batteries: the compact 18V and the powerful 36 V, which are compatible with a growing range of machines like high- pressure cleaners, leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners.
These batteries come in different capacities to suit various tasks and, more importantly, they are able to be used with all Kärcher machines of the same voltage class, whether for home and garden or professional use.
A standout feature on all Kärcher batteries is the LCD display with Real Time Technology. Not only does it show the remaining battery capacity, but it also provides accurate information on running and charging time in minutes. The intelligent batteries are sturdy, resistant to shocks and protected against dust and spray water (IPX5).
They also feature efficient temperature management that ensures optimal performance even during demanding tasks, intelligent cell monitoring guards against overloading, overheating and deep release. If a machine isn’t used for an extended period, the Battery Powered processor-controlled automatic storage mode helps extend the battery cells’ lifespan.
In addition to the ‘Kärcher Battery Universe range’, Kärcher is introducing a cutting-edge vacuum brush designed for professional users, featuring battery-powered convenience. Ideal for diverse settings such as hotels, retail spaces and public facilities, this machine facilitates the effortless deep cleaning of both carpets and hard floors.
Featuring a 36V interchangeable battery, the cordless vacuum brush includes features such as an automatic floor identification function. Additionally, it incorporates a self- cleaning mechanism that eliminates the need for manual roller brush cleaning, and boosts a slim design for easy access under furniture.

The newly introduced CV 30/2 Bp offers user-friendly operation with the convenience of cordless use – users don’t have to contend with cables, search for power outlets or switch outlets when moving between rooms during cleaning. This cordless vacuum brush is designed to intelligently recognise the type of surface it is cleaning by adjusting its suction power accordingly for different floor surfaces. This feature ensures easy and efficient cleaning on both carpets and hard floors.
The roller brush of the CV 30/2 Bp thoroughly cleans carpet fibres and removes ingrained dirt. A surface nozzle, available as an accessory, facilitates cleaning in hard-to- reach areas and corners. Thanks to its particularly flat design, the CV 30/2 Bp also enables cleaning underneath low furniture such as shelves, sofas or beds.
The wireless vacuum brush can be equipped with an optional HEPA 14 filter, effectively filtering out SARS-CoV-2 particles from the air. This feature is especially crucial for establishments like hotels or retirement homes, which must adhere to rigorous cleaning standards. An indicator light signals to users when the filter has reached full capacity, making them aware of the need for replacement.
The battery enhances user convenience by displaying the remaining running time on the machine’s screen. For extensive cleaning needs, a replaceable battery can be easily inserted to extend the cleaning duration. Notably, there’s no manual brush cleaning required after using the CV 30/2 Bp, eliminating the need for extra cleaning tools.
The ‘Kärcher Battery Universe’ cleaning technology is incredibly versatile and perfect for use across home and garden and professional use, including high-pressure cleaners and leaf blowers. These batteries, available in various capacities, offer interchangeable use across Kärcher machines, enhancing the flexibility for the end-user.
