2Pure launches closed LoopBox

Hygiene industry disruptor, 2Pure Products, is leading the way in green cleaning as it launches the LoopBox, the UK’s first plastic closed loop initiative to recycle both containers and packaging.

2Pure Products’ market-leading OdorBac Tec4 multipurpose cleaner will now be delivered in the innovative LoopBox. When the OdorBac Tec4 container is empty, it’s put back into the LoopBox, collected by 2Pure’s UK distributor, BCHS, and returned to their local depot.

On their next delivery date, 2Pure collects and returns to their factory, where the containers are sorted, cleaned, and dried. They are then refilled, repacked in a LoopBox, and redelivered to distributor depots, returning the containers to the closed loop cycle.

The LoopBox system prevents virgin plastic from ever being produced, reusing OdorBac’s recycled plastic bottle again and again. No additional journeys are made for collection or delivery, and 2Pure also offsets the carbon on all its

scheduled delivery and collection journeys, slashing CO2 emissions. Customers can see their plastic and CO2

every month in a customised report.

James Law, Commercial Director at 2Pure Products, said: “All of our products are developed, manufactured, and used with sustainability front of mind. From day one we have been committed to reducing our impact on the environment, from only using ingredients that are safe for people and the planet, to ensuring all bottles and containers are made from 100% recycled plastic.

savings

“We are delighted to have been able to go one step further with our green efforts and bring a UK-first closed loop recycling system to the cleaning and FM market. The 2Pure Products LoopBox not only minimises the amount of virgin plastic that enters the loop, but it also slashes CO2

emissions by limiting the number of journeys that

are needed to make the recycling process achievable and sustainable for our customers.

“Feedback to date has been extremely positive, and we look forward to sharing the sustainable saving statistics with our customers as we continue to support their green ambitions.”
