Big ROI contract win for Mount Charles

Award-winning FM support service provider Mount Charles has announced a multi- million pound contract award with South East Technological University (SETU) sites located in Munster and Leinster.

The contract will include the provision of porter and cleaning services at the Main Carlow Campus, South Sports Campus, and Wexford Campus – including all buildings, sports pitches and stands, car parks, recreational areas, and any future developments.

SETU has evolved out of the Institutes of Technology at Waterford and Carlow, and brings together over 50 years of experience in higher education, research, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration.

The regional university has campuses across the southeast of Ireland in Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow, and Kilkenny. It serves more than 18,000 students and employs over 1,500 staff and holds major ambitions to grow student numbers in the future.

Gavin Annon, Sales and Marketing Director at Mount Charles, said: “We are thrilled to be a major service provider to SETU at this exciting time in their journey. This contract further cements Mount Charles’ reputation as a leading service provider in ROI, providing soft services in a sustainable manner which brings long term benefits to both parties.

“We very much look forward to working with the team at SETU.” www.mountcharles.com

MAG celebrates growth and success

MAG Laundry Equipment has successfully distributed over £20m of equipment as they continue to support businesses across the UK, and celebrate a 16-year partnership with manufacturing giant The Onnera Group.

MAG has experienced significant growth during its partnership with The Onnera Group. The company’s sales have been further enhanced by MAG’s exclusive UK distribution of the Primer brand, which has contributed to its overall machine distribution exceeding £20m.

This record growth has resulted in a continued and steady investment into the commercial laundry sector, with MAG leading the way in research and development, upgrading its fleet with green vehicles and doubling its network of UK engineers.

MAG’s leadership in the sector was recognised within the company’s recent award win, where the team was celebrated for strong overall performance, innovation, technological advances, excellent customer service, and thoughtful environmental standards.

Commenting upon the company’s recent growth, Mark Dennis, Managing Director at MAG, said: “To have achieved such unprecedented growth and to be this year’s Machinery Distributor of the Year is truly such an honour.

“Our success is reflective of the hard work the team puts in day in, day out. Particularly with regards to forging strong manufacturing partnerships, which have allowed us to supply some of the most energy efficient, technologically advanced equipment in the world.

“I would personally like to thank everyone who has helped us get to where we are today. MAG has always been a business that doesn’t stand still – and we look forward to enjoying future successes like this with the team.”

MAG, which supplies and services commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble dryers and ironers, is currently within the top five suppliers in the country.
