Estimating and Bidding for Success

How to estimate and bid cleaning services.

Being able to match facility requirements with the right cleaning systems and determining which resources are needed to maintain a facility is fundamental.

This one-day course will examine the defined systems of costing for cleaning services and addresses which systems are best suited for various facility types. It will provide participants with a useable framework to enable them to simplify the work loading process and assist in determining whether they have the right staffing levels.

The course will also touch on organisational structures, the various disciplines and benefits of each system, as well as offer best practices on how to motivate staff in order to increase performance and quality of delivery.

Learning objectives:

• Understand the available cleaning systems • How to reduce costs and increase quality • How to tackle budget cuts • How to improve work loading and labour efficiencies • How to reduce staff turnover

• How to master the different elements required to produce a tender bid

Who should attend:

This training course is aimed at in-house service provi- ders and cleaning services providers who wish to optimi- se resources, improve cleaning quality, and gain a compe- titive edge when bidding for contracts. The programme will also be suitable for facility managers who wish to understand how to determine the details needed to create tender specifications, or for distributors who wish to comprehend their customers’ cleaning requirements and identify the products and services to better meet their needs.
