GARDEN Atkinson & Kirby has lent its design expertise to a leading trend-l

Eden Locke is the latest design-led aparthotel from high-end real estate developers, SACO Property Group, located in the heart of Edinburgh.

Created to immerse visitors into the local neighbouring culture, Eden Locke has been designed with travellers in mind. The aparthotel provides a stunning living area, which allows guests to experience the ‘unique and authentic’ surroundings, alongside a functional living space with fully fitted kitchens for the urban traveller who may want to cater for themselves.

To complement the trend-conscious aparthotel, leading flooring manufacturer Atkinson & Kirby was chosen to provide a high-quality flooring solution to both stand the test of time in durability and design.

Around 1600m2 of Atkinson & Kirby’s grey stained flooring,

created specifically for the scheme, was supplied to the renovation of Eden Locke, providing the perfect solution for the aparthotel’s bedrooms, bars and corridors. The idea now is to roll the product out across more of the Locke developments Europe-wide.

Eden Locke aparthotel was created by renovating an existing office building that had fallen into disrepair, and given a new lease of life by the team at SACO Property Group. With the clear attention to detail and design aspects of the project, alongside the help of a variety of manufacturers, including Atkinson & Kirby, the aparthotel has since been well received by guests and industry alike. It has even been named one of the ‘top 10 design hotels in the world’ in a list by industry experts.
